Little Neck Bay – 132 viewsRight before the Throggs Neck Bridge, heading N/W on the Cross Island Expressway, this is the nearly completely frozen over Little Neck Bay. This is just where the ice stops and meets the water (you can see the difference between the trees). The mile or so before this the water is just completely frozen solid and pure white (and it's about a mile across as well).

One of many – 102 viewsThis the the Floral Park LIRR station. That pile of snow reaches to just under the platform with the tracks, and it's one of several at the station (and there are dozens that size at nearly every intersection through the residential part of the town).
